Social Development Department

Supporting

Individuals, Families, & Community Wellness

The Social Development Department provides essential supports to help T’eqt’aqtn’mux members maintain stability, meet basic needs, and access services that strengthen overall well-being. We work with individuals, families, Elders, and external agencies to ensure everyone has the resources, guidance, and assistance needed during times of hardship or transition.

Our programs include income assistance, family and community support, disability and seniors benefits, employment planning, and access to culturally grounded services. Whether members need help navigating provincial systems, completing forms, securing essential household needs, or building long-term stability, our team is here to offer respectful, confidential, and community-centered support.

Our goal is to promote dignity, independence, and a strong foundation of care so all members can thrive.
