Education
The Education Department supports T’eqt’aqtn’mux learners of all ages through programs that strengthen academic success, cultural learning, and long-term career development.
We work with students, families, schools, and funding partners to ensure every learner has the tools they need to thrive—whether they’re in elementary school, high school, upgrading, training, or pursuing post-secondary studies.
Our services include access to tutoring and school support, post-secondary guidance and funding assistance, a wide range of Indigenous scholarships and bursaries, and year-round resources to help learners build confidence, skills, and opportunities for the future.
Supporting Students From Kindergarten to Grade 12
Kanaka Bar Indian Band provides educational support to ensure that all T’eqt’aqtn’mux students have access to quality learning opportunities, school supplies, cultural education, and a safe pathway to graduation.
